'EDUCATION OPTIONS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL'

The St. Louis Public Library is proud to announce the second installment of its interactive series of community discussions, Central Conversations: Topical Talk About a Sustainable St. Louis.  With graduation season here, students and their families face big decisions, including what educational path to take and how to pay for it. To help them make enlightened choices, this edition of Central Conversations focuses on "Education Options After High School."  The program takes place at Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, on June 10 at 6:30 p.m.and is FREE and open to the public.

Moderated by Sylvester Brown, founder of the Sweet Potato Project, whose mission is to restore economic activity in North St. Louis by teaching young people sustainable business and entrepreneurial skills, this installment's featured panel includes:

· Valerie Jensen and Cari Wickliffe of Saint Louis University, Student Financial Services, explains effective strategies to fund higher education.

· Anne Klein of the St. Louis Regional Chamber discusses keeping graduates and their talents in St. Louis.

Central Conversations 2015 wraps up on September 9 with a candid discussion about Racial Justice in a Post-Ferguson World.

Following each event, the conversation continues on the Library's social media channels. Together, we can make a difference.
