Grand opening of sexual health testing center

In 2017 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that nationwide there was a record high 2 million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis for 2016. All three diseases can be treated with antibiotics but can cause infertility and pregnancy complications if they are not diagnosed.

Locally STDs are a persistent concern for public health officials in the St. Louis metropolitan area. During the fall of 2017 the CDC published a report that ranked the St. Louis region eighth in the nation for gonorrhea and 19th for chlamydia when compared to other metropolitan areas.

Testing is the only way to know for sure if you have a STD. Health Stop will be staffed by City of St. Louis Department of Health employees and will be open four (4) days a week:

       Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

       Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
