ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY'S LIVE ON OLIVE OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES KEEPS ON TRUCKIN' WITH JAKE'S LEG

The St. Louis Public Library's LIVE on Olive outdoor* concert series keeps the spirit of the Mississippi River Festival and The Grateful Dead as it proudly presents Jake's Leg.  The party takes place Thursday, August 20 at 7 p.m. in front of one of St. Louis' most dramatic backdrops, Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, in Downtown St. Louis.  The show is FREE and open to the public. (*The event will move indoors in case of inclement weather.)

With a nearly 40-year history, Jake's Leg is one of St. Louis' most enduring bands, its musical spirit and intent remaining rock solid.  More than a Grateful Dead tribute band, Jake's Leg interprets the Dead's iconic sound with their own musical and emotional identity, while upholding the integrity of one of the world's greatest touring bands.

So put on your tie-dye clothes and twirl away the warm summer evening. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the Grateful Dead experience, join Jake's Leg as they take you on a musical trip you'll never forget.

MAKE AN EVENING OF IT!  Urban Eats Café Central will be set up with delicious drinks and mouthwatering food with an ethnic twist throughout the evening. It's the perfect way for concertgoers to keep their energy up as they enjoy great music!
