The Jeremiah Johnson Band joins the St. Louis Public Library's popular NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series. The August 18 show begins at 7 p.m. on the steps of Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, as part of the LIVE on OLIVE concerts.* Special guest The Dusty Brothers perform at 6 p.m.

The Jeremiah Johnson Band is the voice of Mississippi River Blues. After learning guitar at age 6, Johnson found inspiration from St. Louis' rich Blues heritage and legendary guitarists like Alvin Lee, Eric Clapton and Hank Williams. After relocating to Houston, TX, he merged the familiar two-step Texas sound with St. Louis Blues to create a unique sound no other Blues band has today.

The Jeremiah Johnson Band can be heard nationwide on Sirius XM's B.B. King's Bluesville, as well as on Touch Tunes Jukeboxes in bars and clubs and on radio stations across the country.

The band includes Benet Schaeffer on drums, Jeff Girardier playing bass guitar and Jeremiah Johnson on guitar.

The concert is open to all-ages and is part of the ninth season of the NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series, which presents exceptional FREE LIVE music every third Thursday.LIVE ON OLIVE runs through September.
