ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY'S NOT SO QUIET! CONCERT SERIES WELCOMES THE STEVE PECARO BAND

St. Louis Public Library's popular NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series concludes the summer's LIVE ON OLIVE concerts with the Steve Pecaro Band on September 15 at 7 p.m. on the steps of Central Library, 1301 Olive Street. Special guest  The Dusty Brothers perform at 6 p.m.

Steve Pecaro is a St. Louis icon. Each fall, some of St. Louis's hottest guitarists come to the Pageant for the annual Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute show, and Pecaro is always the highlight. For 22 years his music has filled the air of smoky bars across the country. Pecaro has shared the stage with notable visionaries such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jeff Healy and Double Trouble. Over the last seven years, Pecaro and his band have provided the footsteps for others to follow in, as he has topped the bill for many of the Midwest's premier Blues music festivals.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax on one of the two grassy lawns at Central Library while you drink and dine from The Urban Eats Café. Of course, you may bring your own delights, including coolers full of adult beverages, but no cooking or open flame is permitted.

The concert is open to all-ages and is part of the ninth season of the NOT SO QUIETConcert Series, which presents exceptional free live music every third Thursday. LIVE ON OLIVE runs through September.

For details about the NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series, visit slpl.org or call 314-539-0347.

*In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move inside to Central's Auditorium.
