The Collector of Revenue Office held their semi-annual Taxpayer Pledge Award ceremony in October. After much deliberation, Gregory F.X. Daly, Collector of Revenue, and Tom Vollmer, Chief of Staff, selected the employee which best exemplifies the qualities that adhere to the office’s Taxpayer Pledge. The pledge states in part: “As public servants and taxpayers ourselves, we are stewards of taxpayer dollars and we take seriously our responsibility to operate an office that is highly efficient and focused on top-quality customer service.”

The Taxpayer Pledge Award was given to Margaret McTague. Margaret works in the Earnings Tax Department in the Compliance Department. Margaret’s work ethic and dedication to the taxpayers of St. Louis and to the Collector of Revenue’s Office is what the Taxpayer Pledge is all about. Mr. Daly was pleased to present Margaret with an engraved commemorative plaque.
