ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF URBAN EATS CAFÉ CENTRAL

The St. Louis Public Library is proud to celebrate the Grand Opening of Urban Eats Café Central.  The event takes place at Central Library,1301 Olive Street, on August 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is FREE and open to the public.

The Grand Opening promises to be unconventional and fun. Rather than an old-fashioned ribbon-cutting, Mayor Francis Slay will preside over the ceremonial cutting of a super-sized, stuffed muffin.  The mayor, assembled dignitaries, and the public will get to sample the "ceremonial muffin" and other items from Urban Eats Café Central's eclectic selection of smoothies, coffee & tea, wraps, salads, snacks, and treats.

Pianist Jerry Robushka will provide music, and local artists from Art Bits will present a custom-made art piece in recognition of Urban Eats' vision and commitment to local art and revitalizing communities. All in all, it will be a great way to spend a lunch hour.

Located in west wing of Central Library's Locust Street Atrium,Urban Eats Café Central features many of the same tasty foods and drinks with an ethnic twist that St. Louisans have come to love at Urban Eats' south city location.

The food is savory, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the setting is unmatched. Urban Eats Café Central is the perfect place to recharge bodies and minds.
