The Flora Conservancy of Forest Park is a volunteer organization that, in partnership with the St. Louis City Parks Department, plants and maintains floral displays throughout Forest Park.  This organization offers area gardeners a unique opportunity to help the St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry preserve the gardens in Forest Park.

Volunteers work on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on projects at the Jewel Box, Pagoda Circle, and Murphy Lake.

During the late winter and early spring, Flora volunteers return to the city greenhouses, to plant seeds, make cuttings, and prepare for their annual plant sale held the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Gardening skill is not necessary, as training classes are part of the program.  All volunteers are offered on-site training.

To volunteer, please call (314) 289-5323 or (314) 53-FLORA.
