St. Louis Public Library's annual Food for Fines program returns today, July 1 and runs through July 31 at all St. Louis Public Library (SLPL) locations.

SLPL is again teaming up with the St. Louis Area Foodbank to help fight hunger through this special program. Throughout the month of July, the Library will remove $1 in overdue fines from an adult cardholder's Library account for each non-perishable item donated, up to $25 per account.
