St. Louis CVC Hires Jani Torrence
New National Convention Sales Manager will specialize in mid-size single hotel and select city-wide convention business.

The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission (CVC) recently announced it has hired Jani Torrence as its new National Convention Sales Manager.
Torrence spent two years as a corporate sales manager with the Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau. Prior to that, she worked five years as the Trade Association and Government Sales Manager for JQH Hotels & Resorts, Inc., in Springfield, MO. Her background also includes positions in television news production at stations in Illinois and Texas.
Torrence has a Master of Science in Mass Communication and Journalism from Texas Christian University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Webster University.
The St. Louis CVC is the official marketing organization for St. Louis City and County for visitors of all types. The CVC also operates the America's Center convention complex, which includes the St. Louis Executive Conference Center and the Edward Jones Dome.
