City Employees Support Efforts to Raise Funds for Soldiers' Memorial

Thirteen persons won prizes in the Raffle for Soldiers' Memorial but the real winner was Friends of Soldiers Memorial Military Museum, which received the $618 raised by City workers from ticket sales and casual day fees.

The fundraising was coordinated by the Recorder of Deeds and Vital Records Registrar staff. Drawing was conducted November 16, with 7th Ward Alderwoman Phyllis Young pulling the tickets.

The Recorder and Registrar staff would like to thank everyone who bought tickets, sold tickets, and donated prizes.
