Overview
The Emergency Rental Assistance program makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent or utilities due to a COVID-19 hardship.
The City of St. Louis and St. Louis County have partnered with a company called LiveStories to distribute rental and utility assistance to eligible households. All applications for assistance will be submitted through the FORWARD portal, a program that is operated by LiveStories.
The funding made available under this program will be used to make direct payments to landlords/utility providers on behalf of qualifying tenants.
Applications for assistance opened Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10am CDT.
