Projects
Projects in the planning, design and construction phases are below.
- Christy Blvd Cycle Track Study Map detailing Christy Blvd Cycle Track Study route. This study will determine the the possibility of adding bicycle stations on Christy Blvd from Kingshighway Blvd to Holly Hills Blvds and from Holly Hills Blvd from Christy Blvd to Gravois Ave.
- Hodiamont Cycle Track Improvement Project The City of St. Louis is embarking on this interim project to make a cycle track connection between the MetroLink station at Delmar and the Hodiamont Tracks at Gwen B. Giles Park.
- Ivory Triangle Traffic Study The City of St. Louis is pursuing a traffic study at the Ivory Triangle location within the Patch Neighborhood, consisting of the Ivory St., Virginia Ave., Courtois St., Schirmer St., and Steins St. intersections.
- Jamieson Traffic Study Traffic Calming/Road Diet efforts along Jamieson Ave from Chippewa to Hampton
- Jefferson / 22nd Traffic Flow and Corridor Improvements March 16, 2020 public open house materials. Public Comments were due on March 30, 2020.
- Loughborough Pedestrian Crossings and Traffic Calming Improvements Pedestrian improvements and traffic calming on Loughborough Avenue along the south edge of Carondelet Park.
- Principal Arterial Traffic Safety Enhancements The City of St. Louis is pursuing over $ 46,000,000 in improvements to address speeding, crash concentrations, and pedestrian and alternative movements throughout approximately 30 miles of corridors and select intersections in the City.
- River Des Peres and Carondelet Corridor Study 1st Ward Alderwoman Schweitzer and 2nd Ward Alderman Oldenburg initiated a traffic study that would evaluate traffic conditions along the corridor.
- River Des Peres Corridor Traffic Study The Board of Public Service has contracted with Lochmueller Group to evaluate traffic conditions along River Des Peres Blvd between Lansdowne Ave and Gravois Ave and recommend strategies.
- South Broadway Cycle Track Improvements The City of St. Louis was awarded funding to construct an upgraded bike facility, as well as related road and sidewalk improvements, on approximately 2.1 miles of South Broadway between River City Casino Blvd. and Dover Street.
- Tucker Boulevard Cycle Track Project The Tucker Blvd Cycle Track will consist of a 2-way, street level, physically protected bicycle and scooter facility on the existing asphalt pavement along the west side of North Tucker Boulevard between Washington Avenue and Chouteau Avenue.
- Union-Lindell Bridge Reconstruction The intersection of Union and Lindell Boulevards, minor arterial streets, is supported on two independent bridge structures spanning Forest Park Parkway, an east-west principal arterial, and MetroLink light rail tracks.
