N. Kingshighway Blvd. (Lindell to Dr. MLK) Traffic Study

UPDATED: Recommendations from the traffic study for N. Kingshighway Blvd. (Lindell to Dr. Martin Luther King) as presented at the June 22 and August 31, 2022 public meetings. The public comment period is now closed. There will be additional opportunity for public comment as individual projects progress through design.

Background

The President's Office of the City of St. Louis Board of Public Service has contracted with the Lochmueller Group to provide traffic engineering design services for improvements proposed to N. Kingshighway Boulevard (Lindell to Dr. Martin Luther King).

Project Objective

The purpose of the project is to calm traffic and improve the safety for all users of the N. Kingshighway corridor.

Public Meetings

On June 22, 2022, the City held a public meeting at the Link Auditorium where the results of the traffic study and recommended improvements were discussed. In an effort to reach more residents, another public meeting is scheduled for August 31, 2022 at the Wohl Rec Center. Except for the date, the meeting materials are the same.

Seeking Public Input

UPDATED: The City requested your input on the proposed recommendations discussed at the June 22, 2022 public meeting. The comment period was upon through midnight on July 31, 2022. In an effort to reach more residents, a public meeting is scheduled for August 31, 2022 and the public comment period has been reopened. Please review the meeting materials and provide any comments by midnight on October 9, 2022.
