Comptroller's Darlene Green's "Inc. Yourself in the New Year" business seminar series concluded last month with more than 300 people attending the four seminars.

Over the course of four months, area entrepreneurs learned how to start or grow a business that serves various government agencies and institutions. The final seminar discussed how to work with airports and federal government.

Participants said they were most impressed with the last seminar. It featured Mattie Moore, community liaison with U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill's office and long-time business coach Sandra Marks.
