Co-workers and friends gathered at Nadine's in Soulard to fete Ann on Monday, June 24, 2019. Ann began her career with the City in 2007. She served on Boards and helped facilitate major events such as the Grand Opening of Soldiers' Memorial, the Grand Opening of the Mississippi River Bridge, the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the City of St. Louis, the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the 2011 Major League Baseball World Series Championship Parade, and she single-handedly coordinated the biggest celebration in the history of St. Louis -- the 2019 Stanley Cup Watch Parties and Parade, which brought 500,000+ happy hockey fans to Downtown St. Louis.

As a result of Ann Chance's hard work and resourcefulness, countless St. Louisans and visitors have been able to safely celebrate numerous events in our City and make memories they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Happy retirement, Ann!
