Byron Seymour Retires

 The Neighborhood Stabilization Team surprised NIS Byron H. F. Seymour with a retirement luncheon on his next to last day on the job.  The luncheon included a stop by by Mayor Francis G. Slay, who proclaimed June 30, 2016 as "Byron H. F. Seymour Day" in the City of St. Louis in honor of Seymour's 44 years of dedicated public service.

During his career, Mr. Seymour has served in various capacities in several offices with the City including the Recreation Division, Citizens' Service Bureau, Division of Corrections, the Excise Division and most recently with the Neighborhood Stabilization Team, from which he is retiring.  He has also worked for several elected officials.

Through the years, Mr. Seymour has been a dedicated, trusted and valuable asset to the City of St. Louis, earning respect from his colleagues, both past and present, as well as the people of our community.
