ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY'S NOT SO QUIET! CONCERT SERIES 2014 WRAPS UP WITH JAVIER MENDOZA
 

The St. Louis Public Library's popular NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series' 2014 season finishes with a flourish as Javier Mendoza brings his irresistible Latin sound to Central Library's Auditorium on December 18 at 7 p.m.

Javier Mendoza has independently sold more than 50,000 albums and has received countless honors including the Riverfront Times Music Awards' Best Solo Artist, Best Male Vocalist, and Best Pop Artist.  He was a finalist in the Independent Music Awards and was selected as a Budweiser True Music Artist.  He was voted One of College's Hottest Artists by Campus magazine.

Mendoza's music has been featured on several TV reality shows and he has made multiple live radio and television performances. He has released 15 albums and is currently recording new music with Grammy Award-winning record producer Toby Wright.

Javier has shared the stage with music legends including Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, Victor Wooten, Los Lobos, The Roots, Ben Folds, Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, Idina Menzel, Martin Sexton, Raining Jane, and many more.

An all ages concert, Javier Mendoza's performance is part of the seventh season of the NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series, which presents exceptional FREE live music every third Thursday in Central Library's Auditorium.

MAKE AN EVENING OF IT!  Before the concert, stop by the Auditorium Lobby between 6-7 p.m. to enjoy mouthwatering food and drinks with an ethnic twist from Urban Eats Café  Central, the newest addition to Central Library.  It's the perfect way to satisfy an early evening appetite and get in the mood for tasty tunes!
