Rick Mattingly Receives 40-Year Service Pin

The Water Division is pleased to have recently recognized Richard (Rick) Mattingly (r). On behalf of Mayor Tishaura O. Jones, Director of Public Utilities Curtis B. Skouby, P.E. awarded Mattingly with a 40-year service pin from the City of St. Louis. Mattingly is a Water Treatment Plant Operator at Howard Bend Water Treatment Plant. He was hired in September of 1981 as an operator's assistant. Rick spent most of his career at Howard Bend except for a couple of years spent at the Airport in a supervisory promotion. Rick comes from a family of civil servants. His dad, Bob Mattingly, was a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor I at Howard Bend Water Treatment Plant for many years before retiring. Rick's wife, Patti Mattingly, is a customer service supervisor in the City Assessor's Office. Rick's son is a police officer in St. Louis County (word is he got his start working at the Airport). Rick enjoys travel and spending time with his family. Please help us to congratulate and thank Rick for this milestone and for his service to the City of St. Louis.
