Number of COVID-19 Associated Deaths at 30 for the City of St. Louis
At 5:00 p.m. Friday, there were six pending COVID-19 test results approved by the Missouri DHSS, 133 persons being monitored, and 788 positive cases.

The City of St. Louis Department of Health announced two new COVID-19 associated deaths Friday, bring the City’s number of fatalities to 30. The deceased include an African American man in his 50’s and an African American female in her 70’s. No additional information will be released due to privacy laws. Further deaths in the City of St. Louis will only be included in future daily case counts.
On Thursday, Mayor Lyda Krewson and Director of Health Dr. Fredrick Echols extended the Stay at Home order for the City of St. Louis indefinitely, with it to be reevaluated regularly as the St. Louis region continues to flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases. The updated Executive Order also recommends all individuals wear a face-covering in public settings.
As of 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2020, there were six pending COVID-19 test results approved by the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services, 133 persons being monitored, and 788 positive cases in the City of St. Louis.
