Missouri Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler presented a $2,500 matching grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture's Local Foods Grant Program to the St. Louis Public Library and Walnut Park Community Garden Club last month.  The grant will assist them in expanding their community gardening and education efforts within St. Louis' 27th ward and Walnut Park East neighborhood.

Through the Local Foods Grant Program, the Missouri Department of Agriculture supports community organizations and projects working to improve underserved populations' access to fresh, locally-grown produce.

Congratulations!
