Recently, St. Louis City Hall offices including The Collector of Revenue, Circuit Attorney and Board Aldermen, partnered with the men of Alpha Phi Alpha to help Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri (BBBSEMO).
As part of BBBSEMO annual Bowling for Kids' Sake fundraiser, teams put on their bowling shoes and took to the Moolah Lanes to help raise money toward pairing young people with a team of caring adults. One hundred percent of the funds raised went directly toward the Big Brother and Big Sister program. The teams raised $3,985 toward this goal which will provide three children in St. Louis a match Big Brother or Big Sister.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri is a non-profit donor and volunteer supported agency whose mission it is "to build trusting and enduring relationships that encourage and support young people." Our one-to-one mentoring model is proven across the country to help children become responsible and productive young adults in the communities in which they live.
