Dennis Collins Receives 40-Year Service Pin

During a brief ceremony at City Hall recently, Mayor Francis G. Slay presented long-time City employee Dennis Collins with a 40-year Service Pin. On hand for the ceremony were Charles Bryson, Director of Public Safety; Frank Oswald, Deputy Building Commissioner; Pat Young, Building Inspection Supervisor; and Cathy Smentkowski, Public Information Officer, Dept. of Public Safety.

Collins began his career with the City of St. Louis in October of 1970 with the Street Department.  He served there for 28 years before transferring to the Department of Public Safety - Building Division.  Collins is a dedicated employee and valuable asset to the City of St. Louis.
