Firefighters Candlelight Vigil to be Held Sept. 8
The public is invited to attend to remember firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Fire Chiefs, firefighters, family and friends will gather at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Firefighter Statue in Poelker Park at Tucker and Market Streets in Downtown St. Louis to remember their co-workers and loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The names of those firefighters being remembered that evening will be gathered from Fire Departments located within the metropolitan St. Louis area, including the Metro East.
Dress uniform and representative fire apparatus would be appreciated.
