Judge Jimmie Edwards Wins People Magazine Award

St. Louis Juvenile Court Judge Jimmie Edwards has been named a "Hero of the Year" by People Magazine.

Edwards was recognized for his efforts in opening the Innovative Concept Academy at Blewett Middle School.  The school provides resources to at-risk students between the ages of 10 and 18. 

Edwards received $10,000 from the contest and intends to use the funds for a new arts and drama program.
