The Metro Sentinel presented its Publisher's Award to Michael P. McMillan, License Collector of the City of St. Louis. This award was presented to McMillan for his untiring dedication to community service as an elected official, public servant, community leader and numerous initiatives to inspire excellence in education. McMillan is a strong advocate of education on all levels. The Office of the License Collector reinforces continuing education of its staff in skill training for improved customer services and to complete their degrees, as well as providing professional experiences for college interns.
