St. Louis has many gems and treasures for tourists to discover when they visit our great City. But how often do St. Louisans play like tourists in their own town? Soldiers' Memorial was recently highlighted in a Be A Tourist video. Follow this link to the clip on YouTube.
A good time to rediscover Soldiers' Memorial & Military Museum would be Saturday, Sept. 17. That morning a POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony is scheduled on the steps of the memorial at 1315 Chestnut in Downtown St. Louis. The ceremony will not only recognize those who gave all in service to our nation as prisoners of war or who have gone missing in action -- but also will recognize what this has meant for the families they left behind.
