2nd Annual City Hall Food Drive
To Benefit Operation Food Search

For the second year, the Recorder of Deeds Office is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit Operation Food Search. City Hall employees and customers are encouraged to contribute to this year's Food Drive by either donating canned meat, poultry, and fish or purchasing Raffle Tickets.
The drive began on Jan. 14 and donations will be accepted through Friday, March 11 at the Recorder and Registrar's Cashiers in City Hall, 1200 Market Street, Room 126 . Suggested food donations include:
- peanut butter
- canned soups (beef, chicken, ham and bean, clam chowder)
- sauces with meat
- canned meat or cheese ravioli
- pork and beans
- chili
- stew
- tuna
- salmon
- boxed macaroni and cheese
- boxed cheese stuffed pasta
- or similar items.
One Raffle Ticket will be awarded for each canned meat donation or $1 cash contribution.
Four drawings will be held. Early ticket holders will have four opportunities to win a prize because tickets will be good for each of the next drawings.
- The drawing on Thursday, Feb. 10 will have Valentine's Day theme prizes.
- The drawing on Monday, Feb. 14 will have Everything St. Louis theme prizes in honor of St. Louis' 247th Birthday.
- The drawing on Monday, Feb. 28 will have Mardi Gras theme prizes.
- The final drawing on Friday, March 11 will have Everything Irish theme prizes in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
The 2010 Food Drive collected 274 food items valued by the organization at $531.96.
