About
The Public Safety Committee shall consider all matters pertaining to law enforcement and the protection of the public from dangers affecting safety including violence, crimes, and disasters. The Committee also hears matters related to maintaining an efficient and equitable justice system. Maintains communication with all divisions within the Department of Public Safety, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, Municipal & Circuit Courts, and the Circuit Attorney.
