All centers and summer sites will be closed July 4, but outdoor pools will be open July 4.

SUMMER PLAYGROUND & CAMPS -- JUNE 13 TO JULY 29
OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOLS (June 13 to August 19)
There will be summer playground and camps, offered by the St. Louis City Recreation Department at Marquette Center (4025 Minnesota) and Cherokee Center (3200 S. Jefferson), from June 13 to July 29. The times are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (playground, ages 4 to 6); 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (camps, ages 7-12).
The summer camps (ages 7-12 years) will include:
* USDA approved free lunch
* swimming
* arts & crafts
* games
* sports
* field trips
* movie days
Campers must wear tennis shoes and proper clothing.
The summer pool schedule* from June 13 to August 19 is as follows:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
LAP SWIM
Tuesday & Thursday 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

It is recommended that you apply in person at the recreation center, or call (314) 289-5320 for further information. Openings will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites subject to change based on demand.

* All times subject to weather conditions. There will be times when the pools must be cleared. All centers and summer sites will be closed July 4, but outdoor pools will be open July 4. Proper swim suits, towels and soap are required. No flotation devices are allowed.
