Ordinance No. 70185 (BB# 268) passed in January, 2016 and authorized a bond issue election in the amount of $25M for the purpose of replacing a portion of the Fire Department's fleet of fire engines and ambulances, conducting Fire station repairs and equipment purchases and providing funds for Police, Recreation and other City building and equipment needs. The proposed bond issue was approved by voters in April, 2016. It is anticipated that the issuance of these general obligation bonds will occur in the fall of this year. A detailed list of proposed projects is contained as "Exhibit A" on page 6 of the attached copy of the ordinance.
