Comptroller Recognized for Role in Success of Prop F

St. Louisans decisively voiced their choices at the polls on April 5. In addition to reauthorizing the earnings tax (Prop E), city voters passed a $25 million bond issue (Prop F). Their "yes" votes will ensure the continuation of critical city services and afford the fire department the capital needed to replace outdated gear and equipment, as well as finance other essential needs in the city.

In other action from the city's balloting, with about 80 percent of the vote in:

″ St. Louis' proposed bond package (Proposition F) of up to $25 million to purchase, replace, improve or maintain the fleet of city-owned vehicles also passed overwhelmingly, about 83-17 percent. It requires a two-thirds vote. The measure would also repair, renovate and replace bridges, recreation centers and other public facilities and infrastructure.
