Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position provide secretarial and clerical support including typing, filing, and receptionist duties.

A high school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) certificate; plus two years of recent full-time paid secretarial/clerical experience. Secretarial/clerical or computer coursework may substitute for up to one year of the required experience. Must have skill in using word processing, spreadsheet, or database computer applications.

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE POINTS: To be eligible for veteran's preference points, the applicant must submit a copy of his/her DD 214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty with the Employment Application or at the time of the Written Test. The Director of Personnel may, in his discretion, accept alternate documentation.
Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly.
A ten year character investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions with the Airport Authority.
