Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for determining personal property values for more complex commercial and industrial properties for tax assessments. Incumbents must provide their own transportation. A monthly mileage allowance of $270.00 will be paid for appraisal field work.

Two years of experience in the assessment of corporate owned personal property. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at the time of the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class, and expiration date on the Employment Application.

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE POINTS: To be eligible for veteran's preference points, the applicant must submit a copy of his/her DD 214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty with the Employment Application or at the time of the Oral Interview. The Director of Personnel may, in his discretion, accept alternate documentation.
