Salary

  • Minimum: $52,286.00
  • Maximum: $74,906.00

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing client care, public health education and health-related investigations in order to promote community wellness.  Work involves some evening and weekend assignments and requires the use of a personal vehicle. Applicants must provide their availability for evening and weekend assignments on the Availability Section of the Employment Application.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing; plus one year of professional nursing experience; OR completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing; plus three years of professional nursing experience.  OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

LicensesMust be licensed by the Missouri State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse at the time of filing application and while employed by the City of St. Louis.  Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis.  Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application.  Must present RN and driver's licenses upon request.  Please note licenses on the Employment Application.  

Documentation of academic credentials and nursing license must be submitted with the Employment Application or upon request.

When completing the Employment History and the Educational/Training History sections of the Employment Application, please be as thorough as possible when describing your education, training and experience relating to this position. Your employment experience and training will be used to determine whether you meet the entrance requirements for this position and to compute your experience and training evaluation.
