Goodfellow Boulevard Traffic Calming Study

At the request of the 27th Ward Alderwoman, the Board of Public Service has contracted with CBB to provide traffic engineering study services for traffic calming solutions proposed to Goodfellow (I-70 to Hall Ferry Circle).

Project Overview

This is the planning phase, and the City’s engineering team tries to let the data in the report, community / elected official feedback, and financial feasibility of the recommendations guide what is implemented in the future.

Project Objective

  • Develop recommendations for reducing speeding and illegal passing on parking lanes.
  • Develop recommendations for reducing/eliminating heavy truck traffic.
  • Enhancing walking and biking conditions (all ages and abilities corridor).
