SLDC Announces Its First Town Hall Meeting
Open forum to Connect Citizens with the Organization
St. Louis, MO- The St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) announced the scheduling of a series of “Town Hall” meetings. The first is to take place On Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the LaunchCode Mentor Center at 4811 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis Missouri 63108. The speaker that evening will be Otis Williams, Executive Director of SLDC. Topics of the evening will include the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency coming to North St. Louis, LRA properties and how to acquire them, and the various construction projects going on around the city.
John Parker, Director of Corporate Communications and Media gave this statement, “In the spirit of promoting transparency we will host this series of Open Forum Town Hall Meetings as a way to connect with the citizens of St. Louis with who SLDC is, the economic development projects that are going on in the city, and provide information on the various organizations that fall under the umbrella of SLDC. We hope that by attending these meetings and asking questions about important issues, the citizens can be more informed. I will be particularly informative for business owners and those that desire to open a business in our city.”
“We believe that SLDC should reach out and connect more the community. This is our way of making that connection and giving the citizens of St. Louis a forum to ask questions and gather information on the various programs and opportunities out there to potentially grow their businesses” stated Otis Williams, Executive Director.
