Buster Brown Blue Ribbon Shoe Factory & St. Louis Place Nominations for the National Register of Historic Places
Official Nomination Documentation
The NGA relocation project adversely impacted 17 properties that were on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Most of these buildings – 16 dwellings at 2512-2544 Montgomery Street – were within the boundaries of St. Louis Place Historic District, listed to the NRHP in 2011. Also removed from the NGA site was the Buster Brown Blue Ribbon Shoe Factory at 2516 N. Jefferson Avenue. The factory was individually listed to the NRHP in 2005.
