Project Connect in North St. Louis
Project Connect is a City of St. Louis initiative that connects current initiatives being proposed by both the public and private sector. Project Connect will ensure coordination and collaboration between neighborhood revitalization, transportation, and other re-development efforts and the City’s investments to support NGA.
The Project Connect team will work with citizens to determine how to best utilize public funding opportunities and investments. Residents have a critical role in providing input to the City regarding this significant transformation and how it should be undertaken.
Project Connect has identified a series of priority infrastructure investments that will improve accessibility to North St. Louis, and provide additional mechanisms to improve safety and security, walkability, storm water management and economic development opportunities.
The priority infrastructure investments include;
1. Interstate 64/40 Interchange at Jefferson Ave. Visit MoDOT for more information at https://www.modot.org/i-64-jefferson-interchange
2. Interstate 64/40 City Streets (22nd St., Scott, Ewing, Clark Aves.)
4. Cass Ave. (Tucker Blvd. to Elliot Ave.)
