Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for researching, collecting, analyzing, summarizing and presenting information regarding crime fighting and operational procedures, strategies and initiatives for the purposes of evaluating and allocating resources and ensuring policies and procedures are in compliance with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).

A Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, or a closely related field; plus three years of experience working as a Police Planner or with research design, data collection and analysis, and planning and grant writing. OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

MEDICAL: Candidates will be required to pass a "Drug/Alcohol Screen" as a part of the medical examination.
