Cheltenham general boundaries are defined as Oakland Ave. on the North, southward to Macklind Ave. on the East, westward to Manchester Ave. on the South, northward to Hampton Ave. on the West to Oakland Ave.
About
Cheltenham traces its roots back to 1798. In the 1830s the Sulphur Springs resort was established and the neighborhood was named after the manager’s birthplace. But in the latter half of the century this meaning was lost, as Cheltenham became synonymous with firebrick.

The advisory was due to low water pressure caused by storm-related power outages at the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant.
