Before 1989, the Forest Park Southeast (FPSE) neighborhood had been known by various names over the years. Originally, the area was known as Rock Spring, named for the large spring that was the principal source of the Mill Creek.

Mayor Spencer Orders Youth Curfew in The Grove June 27-29, Bars to Voluntarily Close Doors Early
This curfew will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting in the evening of Saturday, June 27, and ending the morning of Monday, June 29.
