2015 Recycling Rewards Program
Help Increase Recycling in Your Neighborhood
This article is 10 years old. It was published on January 1, 2015.
The City of St. Louis has received funding through St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District and is launching a community recycling rewards program.
The City's Refuse Division is partnering with EcoUrban on this new city-wide waste reduction effort. The recycling education and outreach program seeks to activate 20-30 neighborhood-based recycling programs.
Participating neighborhood groups will be eligible for incentives from local businesses, as well as cash prizes each month from the program.
If your neighborhood association or block unit is interested in becoming a part of this exciting program, contact Ron Morlen, Program Manager, at ron@ecourbanstl.com.
