To assist the victims of the recent Joplin tornado disaster, the Recorders Association of Missouri (RAM) sponsored collections and fund raising across the state.  The St. Louis City Recorder of Deeds and Vital Records Registrar's Office at City Hall was one of the collection points for RAM donations.

Through City employee and customer donations as well as fees from a casual day fundraiser, $2,091 was raised for Joplin tornado relief.  The monetary donations as well as boxes of cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, diapers for babies, and canned fruit were taken to Joplin the last week in June.  The donations were distributed by College Heights Christian Church, Children's Haven of Southwest Missouri, and LifeChoices to those in need.

Thank you to all the donors.
