Earlier this week Missouri Lawyers Weekly announced the winners of its 2014 Up & Coming Awards. Among the 54 Missouri attorneys named is none other than St. Louis City Counselor Winston Calvert, in the special category of Law Firm Leader. This category recognizes early-career professionals who hold important leadership positions at their firms. Joining Calvert in that category are:
- Michael Miller, managing member of Lowther Johnson, Springfield
- Sara Neill, shareholder at Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachen, St. Louis
- Tracy Ring, officer at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, St. Louis.
The editors of Missouri Lawyers Weekly selected the winners based on their demonstration of excellence and their potential to make a difference in the legal profession and their communities. The awards recognize lawyers who are 40 or younger, or within the first 10 years of practice.
The Up & Coming Awards Ceremony will be held on Oct. 3 at the Chase Park Plaza. For more information about the event and to reserve a table, visit the molawyersmedia.com web site.
