City Employees Encouraged to Wear Red February 1st

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. More than 435,000 women and 307,000 men die each year from heart disease. That is why millions of Americans will wear red on February 1st - National Wear Red Day. They will take action and commit to fighting this deadly disease. Bee-Fit is encouraging all City employees to wear red on Friday, February 1st and take charge of their heart health.
Bee-Fit provides a variety of programs to assist you with your goal to take charge of your health such as aerobics; yoga; zumba; C3 class; Weight Loss Challenge; monthly blood pressure screenings.
Celebrate the 10 year anniversary in true red fashion. Wear a red dress, red shirt, red sweater, red tie or a red pin on Friday, February 1st to show your support for this worthy cause.
