The Collector of Revenue Office was proud to honor employees with outstanding attendance performance in 2011.
On Friday, January 27th employees were recognized for perfect and near-perfect attendance. Twenty-one employees qualified for the award, using between zero and eight hours of sick leave in the 2011 calendar year.
The staff gathered on the second floor of City Hall after work for cocktails and dinner to celebrate before the annual awards ceremony. Inside The Kennedy Room awards were then presented for quarterly service anniversaries, perfect attendance, and for the 2011 Employee of the Year.
Congratulations to the following employees who received an attendance award: Mark Stoff, Sharon Bourne, Brad Phillips, Amir Softic, Tom Vollmer, Bob Willner, Bob Kummer, Matt Luzecky, Deanna Cecil, Larry Unger, Rita Lahr, David Jackson, Rick Metz, Peggy Newcomb, Jackie Whittier, David Dickerson, Tom Hinchy, Cheryl Jones, Michele Klupe, Pat Ortmann and Jean Schuh.
The recipient of the Employee of the Year Award is elected from employee nominations. The 2010 Employee of the Year, Jackie Whittier, passed the torch to Amir Softic, who became the Collector of Revenue 2011 Employee of the Year!
Amir is well respected by his co-workers, and it is no surprise that Amir was awarded this honor. Amir works as the office's Information technician and has the busiest phone in the office.
Mr. Daly was very pleased to award Amir Sofic as the 2011 Employee of the Year!
