Bee-Fit is offering a 3-week course to provide some real-life, everyday changes in eating that can help.  The class will cover Smarter Snacking, Summertime Struggles and Travel Tips for Eating Healthier (while on the go).  Classes will be led by our own Certified Diabetes Educator -- Jennifer A. Markee, LMSW, CDE.  Jennifer has more than 16 years experience as a diabetes educator, working with those that want to manage or prevent diabetes.  Healthy eating and exercise are essential keys to these goals.

The classes will be held on Thursday, July 16, 23, and 30 at the following locations and times:

  • City Hall, 9-10 a.m., Conference Room in 311 (alternate conference room in 324 on July 23)
  • Family Courts, 12-1 p.m., Detention Unit A Meeting Room (in the Main Court)
  • Water Division-Kingshighway, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Conference Room B
