In case you missed the column last month by Bill McClellan in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, here's an update on St. Louis Fire Department Captains Ken and Lee Morton. Both are home from the hospital and doing well after the kidney transplant surgery that took place the end of February.  They hope to be back on the job soon.

For those of you not familiar with their story, about a year ago Ken Morton's doctors told him that his kidneys were shutting down, that he would need to go on dialysis and would also need to get on the transplant list.  Upon learning of this, Ken's younger brother Lee was tested.  He was a perfect match and agreed to donate a kidney to his brother.  The surgery was a success.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Ken & Lee!
