During a brief ceremony in the Mayor's Office, Mayor Francis G. Slay presented Cathy Smentkowski with a 40-year service pin. Smentkowski began her career with the City in Nov. 1974 as a Stenographer-Clerk I with the Land Reutilization Authority. She also served in the Budget Division and the Mayor's Office before joining the staff of the Director of Public Safety in 2009, where she currently serves as a Public Information Officer.
